Playing the Astros at Miller Park in Milwaukee (relocated due to Hurricane Ike), Zambrano pitched a no hitter in 110 pitches, the first Cubs no-hitter in 36 years.
Zambrano threw his first career no-hitter and the first by a Cubs pitcher in 36 years as Chicago beat the Houston Astros 5-0 in a makeup game played in front of a very pro-Cubs crowd of 23,441 at Miller Park.
It's the second no-hitter in the Major Leagues this year. Boston's Jon Lester also did so May 19 against Kansas City.
