Now that it is clear that McCain has made a gaffe by picking Ms.Palin as the person to become President should something tragic happen while he is in office should he be elected....
The only question now is how long before she follows Eagleton into political obscurity.
I mean, here is, like, a tiny sample of what is flying around already....

I get to laugh actually. The day she was announced someone asked my opinion. Sage that I am, I indicated that when a nominee like this is picked, no matter how careful the vetting process, a person with this kind of background almost always has things the press will find out that are problematic.
Never did I imagine the frisk of Palin (I know, sexist double entendre use of "frisk" was intentional) has turned up enough to keep the hurricane off the air it has been a joy to read all the controversy she is generating. Particularly the Luntz (rigged focus group guru) results that she is seen as a "gimmick."
Now matter how hard they try to spin her pick, David Brook's, to me, is the most pathetic, particularly with regard to his ignorance of the facts, it is clear that the voters are not buying what McCain is selling.
So, what will happen next?
