We need to flood the newspapers both large and small with letters calling McCains campaign suspension what it is. A Crock. It makes no sense and is nothing but a stunt to push the reset button on this joke of a campaign that McBush is involved in.
Not only is it stupid, it is also bad precedent. I worry that first we start by suspending a campaign, next we proceed to canceling an election.
Here is my letter to the editor of my local paper. WE need to FLOOD all media with letters demanding that this campaign go forward and that McCain cease this silliness.
I am at the end of my rope! This McCain campaign has gone from uninspired to silly to frightening to outrageous with occasional stops in Stupidville to insult our intelligence. Now he wants to cancel the debates so he can run back to Washington to single-handedly fix the finance crisis? Great, is this a preview of another potential President who doesn't understand how our three branches of government work?
We need a leader that can do more than one thing at a time, who has a clear understanding of the needs of our nation and responds with cool, smart, and consistent common sense. We need a steady hand in this very troubled time and I am afraid that John McCain is not that leader. This past ten days has seen a barrage of crazy garbled flailing by his campaign, trying to scare us into voting for him and his inexperienced running mate. I'm not buying in and I expect him to be at the debates in Mississippi on Friday, because I think we, the American people, have some questions about our future that need answers. Enough of this nonsense.
Update: I agree they can't cancel but suspend...they are crazy desperate political animals that have been backed into a corner. They bite.
