Wow. I was just watching Chris Rock's conversation with Larry King last night (Thursday 9/25). He was riffing on the election, on the candidates, Bill and Hillary Clinton and all things political (okay he also plugged his HBO special).
Chris Rock, getting to the heart of the matter:
The choice isn't Republican or Democrat. The choice is you got a guy that's worth $150 million with 12 houses against a guy who's worth a million dollars with one house....The guy with one house really cares about losing a house, because he is homeless. The other guy can lose five houses and still got a bunch of houses. Does this make any sense? Am I the only one that sees this?
This could be an awesome ad and talking point for Obama's surrogates. It's pithy, witty, and concise. Rock's entire conversation with Larry King is worth seeing. He talks about, explains and expresses his views about Obama, the election, and what it means to be a Democrat simply and powerfully.
It warms my heart to see comedians Chris Rock, David Letterman, and of course Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert telling it like it is through humor, intelligence and wit. They are like modern day court jesters (excluding the goofy costumes) - through humor they are able to speak the truth, analyze and criticize in a way that MSM cannot or will not dare to. Humor is the spoonful of sugar that makes the political medicine go down.
Here's the link to the Larry King interview in its entirety on cnn.com. The quote above is from the first segment. The entire interview is worth watching. The transcript for the first portions of the interview are available on the site as well.

I'll leave you with another Chris Rock quote from the end of his talk with Larry King -
You can run with the rich people, or you can run with the not so rich people
