This is absolutely do-able...but we only have a few more days before the end of the month.
I haven’t really pushed the idea of donating to the national campaign, but "the fierce urgency of now" impels me to make that request!
Election day is fast approaching and September 30 marks a critical time for making donations. The Obama campaign needs to know how much it will have for the final push in October. Announcement of the September fundraising total will be a major news event and will fuel momentum going into the final weeks, especially if we set a new record of $100 million dollars.
The fierce urgency of now is upon us!
Please make your donation now at:

How much?
The legal limit is $2,300 per registered voter. But $5 is just as important.
Can I afford to make a donation?
Let me ask you this: Can you afford NOT to make a donation?
There are several methods for determining the right amount for you to give:
- Figure out what you can afford, then add a 15% tip.
- Take your lucky number and then add a zero or two.
- A nice number is $120 (representing January 20: inauguration day).
- Pick a number between 1 and 9. Multiply it by 3. Add the last 2 digits of your social security number. That’s your donation.
- Or one of my favorites: $270 (a dollar for each electoral vote needed to win).
How can I afford this?
Sell something on eBay, give up eating out for a month, wait till those movies come out on DVD, switch to coffee and lettuce instead of latte and arugula, refinance your house, ask your Republican brother-in-law for a loan.
Making an investment in Obama: $5 up to $2300.
Securing the future for your kids and grandchildren: priceless!
This is our time. This is our moment. Please give now!

And when you’re done, forward this to everyone you know.
$100 million in 1 month? YES WE CAN!

(P.S.: Still not convinced? I have only 2 words for you: President Palin!)
