The way some "Democrats" have been acting, you would think we had won every Presidential election in the last 28 years. I understand our natural instinct is not to kowtow to our leader when he/she does something we don't like, but with 35 days left until the most important election of our lifetime (and no, that is not hyperbole), are we not seeing the forest for the trees.
I am sure we have all seen the new McCain commercial starring our very own Bill Clinton:
Despite his personal feelings, I was of the opinion that President Clinton would help the Obama campaign. Part of his legacy, after all, is at stake. If the Republicans win again, any positive reforms that Clinton may wish to claim, will be long gone. But, Clinton's insistence on praising McCain at every opportunity is wearing thin. Even if he is trying to persuade undecideds, it might help to praise your own party's candidate every once and a while. It makes me feel that critics of the Clintons, such as Andrew Sullivan, may have been right all along. http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.co...
Well now we have a supposed progressive commentator, Jerome Armstrong of MyDD, attacking Obama and suggesting:
Is there a way to vote 'present' this election?
http://www.mydd.com/...
Think about that statement, this is someone who claims to be fighting for the progressive cause actually encouraging people not to vote for Obama.
I know, these may seem like isolated incidents of people with their own agenda, but this election is too important. Let's not forget that the other option is a country run by the same fools that have run the country for the last eight years and are lead by these two...
But, maybe I am overreacting.
