This is going to be a short diary.
There is one question that must be asked
of John McCain.
Every newsman should ask this question each
time they interview John McCain during the campaign.
It was a question that should have been asked
of Gerald Ford in 1973.
It is this.
As President, will you in any way interfere with the prosecution
of the President, Vice President or their aides,
by pardon, commutation, or other means
if they are indicted for crimes against
the United States of America.
If he answers in the affirmative,
he is not fit to be a Senator,
much less the President of the United States.
