I thought this is some of the best commentary I've seen on the effects Sarah Palin's speech had, or will have on poll numbers and McCain's chances. I watched Giuliani's speech and found myself wanting to throw things at the TV. I fell asleep watching Lieberman and Fred Thompson. I watched Palin and thought she did an excellent job, although I disagreed with everything she was saying. It was still a great speech and she showed a lot of confidence up there. I could tell she really had that crowd going and the Republicans were gonna love her. But clearly democrats weren't gonna be swayed by all the Obama attacks. What about the moderates and independents that really matter. I can't see that type of speech by an unknown really doing any damage, and Poblano sums it up better than anyone i have yet seen.
