This election seems to be about simple messages. Well, here's a message every American can understand. Repeated ad infinitum, it's one that Obama can win on. And it takes away a valuable Republican weapon and goes directly at their voters. Here goes:
Obama Ad : Numbers.
A black screen is filled by a large number "95"
Voice Over of Obama: For 95 percent of Americans, including every single American making less than a quarter million dollars a year, I will cut your taxes...
The "95" fades out and is replaced by the number, "900"
Voice Over of Obama: ...by 900 dollars.
The "900" is replaced by a "3"
Voice Over of Obama: That's 3 times more than John McCain.
Voice of Over of Obama: I'm Barack Obama. That's a message I think we can all approve of.
I think if we ran that ad, or some other simple illustration of just that one simple part of his economic plan, over and over and over again, until even the lowest-information voter got it through his head that we will cut his taxes way more than the Republicans will, we would go a long way towards victory.
If a simple sound bite war is what they want. Let's give them one, while at the same time stealing their turf the way they tried to spend their entire convention stealing ours.
What do you think?
