I just heard on MSNBC that the Obama camp has decided to ignore Sarah Palin and focus on McCain. I think this is very smart. Yes Sarah Palin appears (I could be wrong) to be in way over her head and completely unqualified for VP, but that just makes her all the more vulnerable and adorable and thus harder to attack. So the smartest thing Obama and even Biden can do is forget about her. Just keep attacking McCain. If Sarah Palin attacks Obama respond to her attacks by saying "the McCain camp said..." rather than "Sarah Palin said" and no point should he look like he's attacking or even questioning her.
She is the rock star of the republican ticket so the more the election becomes about her, the better it is for the republicans. If it is a contest between Obama and McCain, Obama wins, but if it is a contest between Obama and Palin, who knows what will happen. Sarah Palin is not Obama's opponent, and the more he focuses on her, the bigger she gets, and the more defenders she'll acquire. And attacking her lack of experience will look hypocritical to the fools who believe Obama is inexperienced. She is distraction designed to divert our attention and once again make the election about race vs. gender. Obama should simplt say "I think it's great that whatever side wins we'll be making history, so that frees us up to focus on the issues."
