A quick check of Aaron Schock's voting record in the Illinois General Assembly shows how someone can gain a 100% rating from the NRA.
Let's compare two votes:
Should parents with truant students (under 13) be fined? Yes.
Should parents of deliquent children have their Firearm Owner's Identification Card revoked if their children (under 21) gain access to their parents' guns on more than one occasion? Of course not!
Not surprising coming from a guy whose solution to college campus shootings is to allow students to carry concealed weapons.
One other vote that I thought really shored up his conservative credentials was when he said "No" to free public transportation for Seniors.
Mr. Schock currently holds a commanding lead over his Democratic challenger, Colleen Callahan. In fact, he's so confident in victory he's already busy setting up a leadership PAC.
