Those who watched Larry King interview Bob Woodward http://www.cnn.com/... last night were treated to one of the most intriguing teases in the last 65 years: America has a secret weapon and it is responsible for the remarkable progress in Iraq over the last several months.
Furthermore, Woodward added, the weapon is the result of a Manhattan Project-like effort which shows America's genius. Woodward knows what it is, but he ain't telling at the request--no, make that orders--of the generals. People could get killed, he said. Gulp.
It was all very melodramatic, but Woodward was stalwart and grave during his revelation. He seemed genuinely astonished at what he witnessed and knew.
Today we read that American Al-Qaeda Adam Gadan was targeted and killed. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/... Pakistan's Al-Qaeda chief was targeted and killed. http://www.cnn.com/... Kim Jong Il is missing. http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/...
Can the head of Osama Bin Laden, delivered to GWB on an October platter, be far behind? And with the McCain presidency as relish? Courtesy of America's new secret weapon?
