ABC is reporting that Sen. Kennedy was taken out of the luncheon following what appeared to be convulsions. Sen. Byrd was taken out after being overcome at the events.

UPDATE #1: Ambulance at the Capitol now.
UPDATE #2: Kennedy seems to have been taken downstairs to a Doctor's office on the ground floor of the capital. ABC now broadcasting a stretcher outside the Capital by the ambulance.
UPDATE #3: Obama now speaking; confirms it was Ted Kennedy.
UPDATE #4: Seizure lasted for several minutes, was still suffering seizures as being moved down to the ground floor. Bryd was taken out distressed. Kennedy was sitting at a table with Kerry, Mondale, and others.

UPDATE #11: Mondale was at the table. "He seemed to go into a kind of seizure, but am told he's doing much better now. We were seated next to him. We were talking for 20 minutes telling old war stories . . . then he went into this problem." "They saw and came and got him right away."
UPDATE #12: From video, you can see Dodd and Kerry walking with Kennedy to the ambulance. ABC reporting Kerry said he thought Kennedy "was just tired."
