Sheesh what is WRONG with these people?! No parkas. No long woolies. No gloves, mittens, scarves. I mean you can see faces, even SKIN. And ewwww, what skin! Soft, supple, smooth, ...... curved...*ahem*, instead of hard, stiff, cracked, splitting. If it weren't for the beach Chapstick sales would be absolutely NOWHERE and you can't jump start an economy without that market....
And their news is boring: 76 and cloudy, chance of showers. Obama governs THIS...., Obama undoes another 1% of the 8 year catastrophe THAT...the President completes sentences in English without mangling his mother tongue....
All I can figure out by long distance is Franken +225 and Coleman is still thrashing around in court like that swimmer out there tangled in 27 14 meter strands from a jelly fish the size of a refrigerator that has him caught in a rip tide thats taking him out to that school of circling sharks.....

Election Contest Court, ECC Episode XV: Joe Power
Team Coleman is/are a bunch of slow learners. Witnesses Monday and Tuesday who whack their own case, followed by a day and half of Jim Gelbmann who offered a masterful defense of the entire MN election process. (All that cheering in downtown St. Paul---- popcorn, nachos & salsa, the clink of beer bottles and the slap of high fives as UpTake announcer Mike McIntee says in the background, "He could go...all... the ....way"--is NOT the official Super Bowl Rehearsal Party (Minesotans like to PLAN their spontenaity)---- all the noise is coming from the staff at the Secretary of State's Office as Mark Ritchie works on that form "How to Give a State Employee a 20% Retroactive Raise")
NOW the legal masochists at the Coleman table have called Joe Mansky the Ramsey County (St. Paul) elections director to the stand. No doubt they will also try to get this 20+ year veteran of MN elections to say bad things about the process. Long-time readers (and archive hunters) can reach back to the single digit versions of this series to find out JOE Mansky is the LAST MAN on earth you want to try to get to bad-mouth the system. I think its some sort of petty revenge for how Mansky verbally manhandled some of the Coleman operative/observers as the Recount got underway. (At one point Mansky laid down the marker, "If you don't like my decsion you can take me to court over it." Looks like they're taking him up on that.)
WinRev predicts: you think Gelbmann helped the Norm Case? HAH! Well Mansky is like sending Dick Butkus or Brian Urlacher into the defensive huddle AS THE BACK-UP second stringer (and he's hacked about being benched.) NOT a lot of drop off between starting line-up and second string there!
ECC Morning News: During the recount 171 votes were discovered in a LOCKED cabinet in Maplewood, MN (N, NE, E suburb--endlessly running--suburb os St. Paul). Pristine condition and everyone on the scene (including Coelman lawyers who were summoned to the scene) agreed "nothing fishy" and they were added to the recount. Now as the trial has gone on Team Coleman has bruited (what a word!) these 171 as part of the dark doings of the Franken effort.
But now in the cold gray frozen light of the ECC court, Team Coleman has decided to NOT do one more flip flop (or maybe a 3rd one to bring it back to starting point). They are abandoning any efforts about these 171:
