I'm going to post another diary on this tomorrow, but of course diaries posted at different times of day reach different crowds, and so some repetition is appropriate. That's especially so when we have a chance to end a series of embarrassing losses in Congressional elections since the day that Barack Obama won the Presidency.
I'll make this a brief announcement for now: the DCCC has set up a national phone bank to help Scott Murphy beat carpetbagging Albany Pol Jimmy "Disco" Tedisco in Kirstin Gillibrand's old seat.
The link is here.
The people who can win this election for Scott Murphy are also here: they are us. Those critical people include you.
We've slacked off when needed at times in the past -- I'll have more to say about that tomorrow, or you can check the link in my sig.
This is a chance to, once again, do what we do best: make a difference. Click that link, at an appropriate hour, to get started. I hope to organize people to make commitments and to hold "liveblogs" (if that's the right term for them) for phone bankers this weekend to check in and keep each others' spirits high during breaks in our calling.
We can win this election for Scott Murphy. In fact, I think we will. Thanks, DCCC, for asking this of us.
