As we all know, there are a lot of problems in the world around us that make us angry. I understand and share that anger myself.
That is why I am humbly extending an invitation to any and all readers who wish to share in a simple diary of meditation and reflection. I have provided some nice photographs and some music for you to enjoy in the mp3 player below: Franz Schubert's "Impromptu in A Flat" (Op. 142 No. 2) and Frederic Chopin's "Raindrop Prelude."
Because this is a meditation diary, I politely request that you do not write any comments here.
This is a diary of peace and listening, and I humbly ask that it remain that way.
Listen, but do not speak.
MEDITATION NOTES:
If you like the music or photographs and you wish to leave a compliment, you may kindly do so by recommending the diary. If you choose not to recommend the diary, simply hit Back on your browser and return to Daily Kos as you normally would. Either way, please refrain from commenting in this diary.
If you do write a comment below, I will not respond -- and I ask that others do the same. I will not post a tip jar, nor will I recommend any comment that happens to find its way here. It's not because I don't value your voices (I do). You each have many valuable ideas and thoughts to share with the community and I encourage you to contribute those voices to all other elements of Daily Kos.
But the purpose of this meditation diary is to allow you to take a deep breath, sit back, and relax. This diary does not ask that you run or hide from that which might make you angry -- it simply proposes a way of diffusing that anger in a calm manner. My hope is that by listening for a few minutes, you can release your stress in a peaceful and silent way, so that when you do go back to reading other diaries whose content saddens, frustrates or angers you, you can approach them with a fresh and clear mind. Anger can be a powerful tool and ally, but only when it is properly harnessed.
Listen, but do not speak.
For other diaries with beautiful photographs, I strongly recommend these recent diaries by FarEasterner, Haole in Hawaii, and Eddie C.
(By the way, see my last diary for more info on the mp3 player. If you experiencing any technical problems with it, you may e-mail me at the address shown on my diary page -- but please do not comment here.)

Thanks for listening, and peace to all.
