I am going to be part of a group that will be featured on my 11:00 local news tonight. You guys have any advice on the points I should try to make?
I will try to keep this short.
I live in Greenville, NC.
I volunteer on the board of a local organization that provides housing for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. We meet tonight at 6:30. I received a phone call about an hour ago from one of the other board members who said he received a call from a local news reporter who wants to do a story on a small group of people who plan to watch President Obama's speech on health care reform tonight.
I am also a 2nd year pathology resident. So, I am sure I will be asked how I feel about health care reform as a physician. I am not the most well versed person in the world on the subject, and I do not have super oratorical skills.
Does anyone here have any advice or references on the points I should try to make to the reporter?
Thanks in advance!
