A British film about Charles Darwin has failed to find a US distributor because his theory of evolution is too controversial for American audiences, according to its producer.
Only 39% believe in evolution?
And We wonder why the rest of the civilised world is shaking their heads in disbelief?
Come on America get a grip and join the "Century of the Fruit-bat*".

After the break the proof and nothing but the proof.
;-)
Sigh, I can't even be bothered to argue the point as true believers will not accept anything but spontaneous creation whether it be intelligent or divine.
Please note: Divine and intelligent are not necessarily mutually inclusive as there have been many stupid gods created by man. Yes, I do believe you can create a god if enough people truly believe in its existence.
There is absolutely no point in showing tendencies and saying the work is incomplete. This is merely brandied about as lack of proof, sometimes you can go from 1 to 10 without counting every number, but Oh no, then I have to break out the counting sticks to prove it. I hate to think of the hoops that I would have to squeeze through to demonstrate a binary system. Wuts wrong with good old American numbers ya commie?
No matter what proof can be put on the table faith will triumph over fact.
Take the lunacy of:
The 6,000 year old world theory, despite all the astronomical data available and despite a pretty much complete geological record here on earth this one still seems to hang around.
Oh no, you just don't have faith its that way because God wanted it to appear that way. To fool me? Not very godlike, well.... if you take Loki..... I suppose that could work.
OK
I have faith [whether it be true or not] that God visited earth in her little silver spaceship designed by Jaeger 6,000 years ago.
Now prove me wrong dammit!
Actually in reality we all have our little pet hypothesise....
Well..... I suppose as a non-theist Buddhist and believer in reincarnation I have my own problems...but..but..
Go on PROVE me WRONG!!!!!!!!
;-)
Anyhows I'm going to see the movie.
Do I believe that Evolution is a valid theory?
You Betcha
