There is no other organization in DC, and few others across the country, that provide WEAVE’s array of comprehensive and holistic services for domestic violence survivors. Join us in saving WEAVE. We must raise $85,000 by September 30, 2009. If we can raise this amount, WEAVE will be able to secure a sizable commitment from a consortium of funders that is ready to pitch in to help WEAVE get back on its feet. With your help, we can reach this goal.
WEAVE works closely with adult and teen survivors of relationship violence and abuse, providing an innovative range of legal, counseling, economic and educational services. WEAVE leads survivors to utilize their inner and community resources, achieve safety for themselves and their children and live empowered lives.
Please give! The have already reached $74,135!!! I know that the DKOS community can put this wonderful organization over the top.
