On Thursday's Colbert Report Colbert in the daily word he outlined what he called The Audacity of Nope. Colbert stated sarcastically that republicans should not accept any of the stimulus money for their district because they voted against it. While it is satire he raises a good point. If the republicans feel that it is such excessive spending why don't they reject the money for their district and put the money where their mouth is, no pun intended.
The Republicans are banking on the stimulus to fail so that if it does they will save face in front of the American public. They wont however reject the money for their district because they know however unpopular the Bill may be when their constituents see other districts getting aid and creating new jobs they'll want their representatives head on a stick. So I ask the republicans why don't they reject the money since the bill is "no good"
