DAY 4: Things took a turn for the worse when the tribe returned to camp after sending
JohnK home. No sooner did Al accuse Howard of plotting against him, than were Dick and Howard caught in a fistfight. Tempers were on an orange (high) level of alert, and JohnE pleaded with everyone to calm down.
The animosity hadn't settled by the time the fourth tribal council came around. Howard made no secret of his desire to see either Dick or Al kicked off as soon as possible. But the contingent that sent a warning to Carol the night before was even more determined this time.
The vote at tribal council was a nailbiter. Howard's supporters seemed to split their animosity between Dick and Al, and so they ended up in a three way showdown with Carol. The vote was counted, recounted, and paritally manually recounted bevore all the counting was stopped, and it was Al who ended up with the short end of the stick.
Clearly Carol and Dick know one of them has work to do to avoid being the next to go. JohnE continues to draw the least fire, and neither Howard nor Wesley have yet seen an alliance build against one of them.
