"I don't work for Obama." Harry Reid.
Well, it's early in the pre-inaugural-Obama-interacting-with-the Democratic-senate stage of the game. But. One thing is becoming clear: Democrats seem to be refusing to get on board the Obama train.
Is it me? Or do Senate Democrats just like to fuck around whenever the chance presents itself.
For Reid to actually OPPOSE Obama when absolutely nothing is happening is a fucking disgrace.
I am DONE with Harry Reid.
Perhaps Obama needs to "blow up" the senate dems (figuratively speaking).
I don't know. But I do know the lack of cohesion among democrats is finally giving the Republicans something to smile about.
Now also the fox/limbaugh contingent is revving up its Demonizing of Daily Kos and the internets connection to Obama.
Update: Glad DiFi has come around on Panetta.
and Reid, apparently able to shift his feet of clay to avoid any controversy in his "Senate", has about faced on the Burriss situation.
I don't care anymore. And the Senate has only been in business for two days now.
It's pretty clear that Obama will be forced to walk on eggshells for a while concerning his "fellow" Democrats in the senate.
Senate Democrats seem a bit like the Balkans just prior to WWI. Just give them a push and they will be at war with themselves.
It makes me sick.
"We're not comfortable with President Obama yet"(unspoken truth).
Well why might that be? Is because you forgot what leadership and a strong intellect looked like in the Oval Office?
Obama is a quick study. He has put his toe in the water in a variety of areas during this transition. He saved "interacting with Senate Democrats" till last. Smart. Very smart.
Because Senate Democrats seem a bit groggy and self pitying. It's like they forgot what WORK is.
That's right Harry. It's work. And yes, you DO work for President Obama. In thirteen days you will have figured that out.
