It's been an open secret for some time that Beau Biden is a prime candidate for his dad's former Senate seat. Today on Good Morning America, Biden fils said he is definitely taking a look.
"I'll be making the decision in due course," Biden, 40, told "Good Morning America" today in his first television interview since his return to Delaware last month amid speculation that he would make a bid for the seat.
It wouldn't be a cakewalk by any stretch for Beau--Congressman Mike Castle, who is pretty much the only Republican who could possibly take that seat, announced he's running a few weeks ago (a move that more than likely hands us his House seat). However, it's pretty much a given that if he runs, the White House will throw everything but the kitchen sink at this seat.
It might be awhile before Beau formally announces--he's getting used to being with his family again after a year serving in Iraq as a JAG.
