In this discussion with Fox News anchor, Gregg Jarrett (where do they get these names? Is he any kin to Major Garrett?), Democratic New Jersey Rep. Rob Andrew tries to get a word in edgewise and fails.
There's a surprising reaction to one of Rep. Andrew's comments.
This is a Fox News video of a supposed discussion of the Constitutionality of a health care mandate.
In the video, you can spot the Republican spokesperson, Rep. Marsha Blackburn, because she has the ever-present grin that GOP members are trained to exhibit no matter how vile the words are that they are speaking. Rep. Rob Andrew tries to have himself cut a little slack, but he has both the anchor and the Marsha Blackburn talking all over any of his attempts to answer.
Then comes the horror of horrors, Rep. Andrew asks if he can have a little "Fair and Balanced" for a few minutes? If you don't think that the Fox News people are a little sensitive to the criticisms of late, then you should see how Gregg Jarrett, or is it Major Garrett? No, I think it is Sergeant Major. No, it's Gregg Garrett. No, it's General Quarters. No, it's Modern Major General. No, it's ... anyway, you should see how the Fox News anchor reacts to Rep. Andrew's innocent comment. This is a real hoot!
Since when did "Fair and Balanced" become an unfair swipe at the fake news network? Look at how Rep. Andrew was railroaded! And they wonder why more liberal progressives do not come on the network. Only masochists need apply.
