While everyone bounces off the wall about their number one topic, the most important event that reflects how money rules and corrupts even progressives, will be seen starting tonight.
That's right boys and girls. This is about war, about the city with the highest paid snobs who have taken billions of tax payer dollars to buy their power and control over the masses. We still bow down to them. We witness how they are given more money from our government than all the states during a time when people were being laid off, foreclosing on their homes, losing their health insurance. Now after 18 million are out of work, 46 million have no health insurance and 3 million are homeless, the city of New York received a check to make themselves even richer.
Then to top it off, their damn Yankees spend 201 million dollars to buy a fucking championship and everyone is now a Yankees fan even though they are liberals and just witnessed how we keep giving that city everything. 6 players are the highest paid players in the history of their positions in the sport. Since 1921 when they first bought a championship by buying Babe Ruth, they have strutted their shit in our faces. Tonight starts the war. People who do not live in the 90 mile corridor have no idea what tonight is all about. You have no idea what it is like to live 90 miles south of that narcissistic city that considers itself the center of the universe. They come down here as if we're their welcome mat and we are their servants in their other home while spitting at us as if we are the Taliban. I told my son to burn his Yankee hat or his mother will refuse to cook dinner for him when he visits with his family. His wife and kids get Dover sole and lobster, he has to eat a big mac and watch tapes of Sarah Palin speeches. I explained to him what we went through in 1950 with the Whiz Kids. I think it's starting to sink in. He's getting close. His wife told me she's still working on him but since they live in Brooklyn, he has to keep up appearances. That's not good enough. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, he suffered through the miserable years of the Eagles, Sixers and Phillies. It is his civic and birthright duty to root for those fightin' Phillies. We just beat the Hollywood pretty boys, now we have Genghis Khan and Napoleon in our sites.
Phillies in 6. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!
