I am amazed by the people who are celebrating the presumed "public option" in the House bill. Where is the public option? How do you define public option? The House bill simply expands some type of Medicare coverage for a family of four making less than $ 34,000 a year and this medical coverage is not an available for families making more than that. Also it is not available for individuals making less than $ 34,000. I do not know when an individual is qualified for this coverage but for certain he or she should make much less than $ 34,000 a year to qualify. So where is the public option? This is a joke folks and many here are celebrating a joke as if it is a huge victory.
