Good Morning! To those parents like me who are searching for information on H1N1 and how best to protect your children, I came across an article I have linked from Science Daily that discusses immunity levels in children per age group 8 to 10 days out from the vaccine. The article date is October 5, 2009. It gives encouraging news for those of us hoping for some immunity with the first of the vaccines if your child is 9 or younger. The article basically says that in children 3 to 9 there was a strong immunity response measured in 36% of the children studied. It also indicates that there is still some response in the others just not as strong due to their immature immunity systems. The article provides strong immunity response numbers for children 10 to 17 and under 3. I found it helpful and wanted to share it. Thanks!
