Democrat Bill Owens won a vacant U.S. House seat in New York in a race that divided the Republican Party and attracted national attention.
He became the first Democrat to represent the northeast corner of New York in more than 100 years, according to Congressional Quarterly.
This is a major victory for President Obama and for the democrats.
First of all I would like to spend a moment to thank our conservative right wing friends Professor Rush Limbaugh , Rev. Glen Beck and Of course Mother Terrasa and Dr. Sarah Palin and Illiterate Gangters Tea baggers for their hard work , effort and the time they spent in this 23rd district of New York election for the democrats. I must admit without the help of the Tea Baggers and Lady Sarah Palin’s Bill Owen couldn’t have made his journey this far. Praise the lord. Amen.
As far as the other races are concerned Governor in Virginia didn’t run a good campaign and the democrats didn't even show up to the polls to vote for him. In New Jersey Governor Corzine made some promises, which he couldn’t keep up with , such as reducing the property tax. These are the main reasons why they both lost the election, But lets see how the GOP candidates are going to govern those states from now onwards.
