I usually just delete the wingnut e-mails I receive because reading them makes me feel like I need to shower. This one, however, caught my eye. It's from the Great American Journal to its mailing list, on behalf of Patriots for America which seems from a brief scanning of their website to be a second home for the birther movement (I won't link to it for obvious reasons).

Subject: Urgent: A Call To Storm The Capitol
Michelle Bachmann; A Call To Storm The Capitol On November 5th, 2009
THIS IS YOUR FORMAL INVITATION!
BE THERE!
JOIN MICHELE BACHMANN ON THE CAPITOL STEPS IN WASHINGTON, D.C. TO STOP OBAMACARE ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH AT HIGH NOON!
Michelle will be joined by Mark Levin, John Voight, and possibly others.
From Harry Riley of Patriots For America:
Patriots,
Rep Michele Bachmann, R-MN has just announced a "storm the capitol" next Thursday, November 5th at 12:00 Noon.
This appears to be in conjunction with Vets For Freedom action that is occurring the same day.......see PFA homepage.
Any and everyone that can make it to the US Capitol, Washington, DC to meet Rep Bachmann on the Capitol steps at 12:00 noon is desperately needed.
The goal is have hundreds or thousands show up and walk with Rep Bachmann through the US Capitol advising Representatives to reject the House of Representatives Healthcare Bill.........
Oh yes, this will end well.
Ms. Bachmann wants hundreds - no, thousands! - of the nuttiest of the wingnuts to storm through the Capitol with her. These are the folks who believe they should be able to carry loaded weapons with them anywhere they go.
From Bachmann's press release:
The people need to make a House Call on Washington this week and tell their Representatives to vote no to a government take-over of one-fifth of our economy. This is gangster government at its worst.
Gangster government? Yes, leading a mob of teabaggers through the halls of the Capitol is so much better than actually, you know, legislating! Why didn't we think of that?
Meanwhile, my dad is under the care of an incompetent oncologist who is angry at him because he wouldn't do an experimental drug study that would have shortened his lifespan, and because he wouldn't go away into hospice care and die quietly. And can't change doctors because of his insurance company - something Ms. Bachmann and many of her proponents will never have to worry about because, hey, we've got ours and f*** you. Don't get sick, and if you do get sick, die quickly.
Thanks to Ms. Bachmann and her ilk, and the Blue Dogs who enable them, my dad won't live to see the public option and won't have a chance at better care that could prolong his life.
