Why is there an ad for Tom Ganley for Senate on the Front Page of dailykos.com?
Ganley is running for Senate in Ohio as a Republican. He's a well-known Cleveland automobile sales mogul, whose ubiquitous ads in the Cleveland market give him viability in the north, but he's virtually unknown in the southern part of the state.
And while his website makes virtually no mention of it, have no doubt. Ganley's a long-time Republican financial supporter.
So why is Blogads running a Ganley ad, at least on my local version of the front page?
His tagline reads: "He helped bring down the Mob in Ohio"
Would that be his active complaints about local Democratic leadership -- including the corrupt Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora?
Sorry that this diary rambles. It's late, and I was outraged to see Ganley's mug on my beloved orange screen.
