So I was wandering the internet and what do I stumble upon? An article from the trashy Examiner.com! I clicked and what I found was the rambling writings from a clearly crazy man and his support for a new website "http://www.campus-watch.org".
Warning: Clicking on examiner articles is how said author gets paid. Wikipedia details this under the "payscale" section. Thus I am using google cache to circumvent that.
So I stumbled upon this guys op-ed ramblings. He is a notable nobody who goes by the name "Franke Schein". The first of his articles that I stumbled upon was pretty awful. But it was mostly used to set up another awful anti-teacher article and to promote a new organization to harass and intimidate teachers.
The first article starts off with the title "American universities a breeding ground for socialist communists and terrorist". It is pretty much all gibberish so I will just quote his conclusion.
The answer is to monitor every teacher in American Universities. Identifying those that stray from the lesson plan and include their Anti-American and anti-Israel sentiments in front of our children.
Radical Islamist that set up shop in our schools need to be booted onto the street with utter disgust. Their Jihadist propaganda and empathy for Palestinian terrorist groups is a slap into the face of every freedom that real Americans enjoy.
The American educational system is under attack from within. At stake are the fresh and impressionable minds of our children. The consequence of inaction might well results in another Nazi party emerging to slaughter yet another 8-Million people, and the radicalization of American Muslims that want to destroy the US Constitution and replace it with Islamic Sharia law.
Which leads to his second article titled "Fake American Patriots". It is mostly straw men and crazy talk. The usual from the right. But the ending?
Then there is another kind of false Patriot-the socialist that champions the cause of every terrorist group and blames it on America. This kind of patriot is just as bad as the White Power Trash because most of them have received advance degrees in something or another. They preach their foul un-American style hatred onto hapless school and university students.
Campus Watch is one of the many organizations that keep a close eye on academia. It’s great to have these groups countering the claims of these overtly socialists and communist that indoctrinate Americas children with their twisted ideologies.
If you know of a school teacher, university professor, or other educational based candidate, and know that they are racists, socialist, communist, anti-Israeli, or anti-Jewish-then contact campus watch [HERE] None of these people should be allowed to stand in front of our children. None of them should be allowed to stand at the head of a classroom or lecture hall.
Now I don't have a problem with outing racism or antisemitism. I feel the academic community does a good job in regards to that on it's own. But communist? Socialist? And what the heck is "campus watch"? Let's find out!
Campus Watch
What is campus-watch and who runs it? Well it is a project co-created by Daniel Pipes, a known racist and smear merchant who accused Obama of being a muslim during the presidential campaign. Daniel pipes is the founder of middle east forum. A neoconservative organization with a who's who of neoconservative nut jobs as members.
So what exactlty is campus watch? Well it is an extension of MEFORUM to attack and smear academics across the country for contrary political beliefs. This article described it aptly.
One recent project of Pipes and his Middle East Forum is Campus-Watch, a website designed to police dissent on university campuses. Campus- Watch’s original statement of purpose, which was subsequently removed from the website due to criticism of its McCarthyite character, was to "monitor and gather information on professors who fan the flames of disinformation, incitement, and ignorance." Campus-Watch alleged that Middle East scholars "seem generally to dislike their own country and think even less of American allies abroad. The reason was that "Middle East studies in the US have become the preserve of Middle Eastern Arabs, who have brought their views with them".
So beware the next time a professor comes under fire or is attacked. A lot of these attacks on the academia are now concerted efforts to harass and destroy real people and their careers just because the truth, as we all know, has a liberal bias.
