Seriously folks, what part you do not get about "Democrats Do Not Have 60 Votes" to overcome a filibuster on the current public option proposal in the Senate healthcare bill. You can yell, scream, jump all over the place, fax, e-mail, call, but at the end they do not have the 60 votes needed.
Reconciliation, forget it because it is not going to happen.
Therefore start living with the facts that the public option in the Senate Bill that can get 60 votes to overcome a filibuster is a "Triggered Public Option" or what Caper is suggesting "Trigger Co-Op with Opt-In on State Level" which is even weaker than the "Triggered Public Option".
Therefore stop wasting your energy on the current public option and try to get the "Triggered Public Option" passed rather than the even weaker "Trigger co-op with opt-in state".
