It is ironic that the party of Spiro Agnew has spawned the Dr. No to lead it, because you have become the exemplar and voice of the 'nattering nabobs of negativism'. You observe that the Obamas are 'angry', as if it were some kind of venal sin. I might ask you why you are not angry. But the question dissolves in the obvious. You have yours, don't you big guy; hideways and millions, mansions and synchophants. You wrap your gluttony in a veneer of lofty values and bray about individualism and free markets. And leave Michelle out of it.
In faux stentorian tones, you 'confuse' Robert Mugabe and Obama, and declare his presidency failed...after sixty days.
You resort to greasy comments that are devoid of content, coy slips of the tongue that appeal to the basest in the citizenry Where is the excellence in these broadcasts?
Dude. Engage the president on his policies, on his ideas and actions. Don't stoop to stimulating the worst impulses of the citizenry.
Banding about the terms socialist, communist, capitalist and free markets, well if it wasn't so irritatinginly dissonant and wrong, might have an anachronistic, quaint charm. But these are simplistic, industrial and archaic buzzwords as if they had some meaning in a world where the largest 'communist' country holds 2or 3 trillion of our free enterprising debt. This is 'excellence in broadcasting'? And lay off of Michelle Obama. They have too much class to respond,...but I don't.
Your anger isn't directed at the callous behaviour of the corporate good ol' boys. Oh, I forgot...because you're one of the good ol' boys. Your anger is directed at those who want you to give back the extra four percent income tax that you've been taking off the backs of middle class Americans for the past few years...and you're squeeling like a.....now see how easy it is to slip into those trailer park epithets?
I don't see the Obamas as angry. Maybe you have anger confused with a focused vitality; a quality that I like in a president. And shut up about Michelle Obama.
