This is ridiculous. Some people believe in the TALF, and other people don't. Still other people both do and don't at the same time! This is all making my head hurt. Please stop all the confusion about economics or whatever and tell me what to believe.
I think we should all decide what to think about Obama and Krugman, and stick to it. No dithering. No wavering.
I like to follow Obama because he is the President, and looks very presidential. Certainly far more than Krugman. On the other hand, Krugman has a beard, and I can't argue with, or even disagree with, a beard. But then again, Tim Geithner has beady eyes, and I don't trust beady eyes. So what am I to do? I'd like to agree with both of them because I feel that we're all on the same side, but I don't understand anything about economics so I can't do that. Apparently no one else has either, because then I'd just agree with them. Isn't it nice when we can all agree? I sure hate disagreement. It makes me mad. Not mad enough to kill, but mad enough to make veins bulge out of my forehead far enough that you could see my pulse.
