Update
NATO bully UN Blue Helmets
As pertinently point out by Arken the first title implies too much prejudice (West plots) and radicalism (to supplant) therefore belonging to the conspirationist register.
West Plots To Supplant United Nations With Global NATO that was the first title
Now it is
Despite agreements stated by the U.S. to Gorbatchev to not extend Nato in eastern countries formally of Soviet Union, we can observe quite the contrary.
Nato has expended i the back door of Russia, in formor Yougouslavia, in Scandinevia, in and around Afganistan, in Irak, Pakistan, etc.. the list of countries are numerous.
With the Bush admin and their rejection of UN, U.S. imposed its Nato plans.
Where will that lead? How Russia, China and India are responding to all of this colonialist behavior of the Imperalist US.
Time will tell but we already can notice some changes.
Btw next week

The first indication that the United Nations was marked for marginalization, selective application (and exploitation) or even de facto dissolution, however, occurred three years earlier in 1996 when the United States single-handedly browbeat the other fourteen then members of the Security Council to depose Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali and replace him with Kofi Annan, who the preceding year had been appointed UN special envoy to NATO and authorized the NATO bombing in Bosnia behind the back of Boutros-Ghali.
Boutros-Ghali was deprived of the traditional second term for not authorizing NATO's bombing of Bosnian Serb targets in 1995 and for speaking the truth about the deadly Israeli bombing of a refugee camp in Qana, Lebanon in the following year when 106 civilians were killed and 116 injured.
As former Clinton and Bush administrations' National Security Council counter-terrorism adviser Richard Clarke acknowledged:
"[Madeleine] Albright and I and a handful of others (Michael Sheehan, Jamie Rubin) had entered into a pact together in 1996 to oust Boutros-Ghali as Secretary General of the United Nations, a secret plan we had called Operation Orient Express, reflecting our hope that many nations would join us in doing in the UN head.
From NATO Expansion and Map Game
Wednesday May 20, 2009
In light of NATO's recent expansion to 28 countries as Albania and Croatia joined on April 1, NATO introduces a new map game that allows users to identify NATO member countries and NATO partners. The graphics look great but the interface is a bit clunky in that you constantly need to change the scale and recenter the map as you select countries.
From Ria Novosti Gorbachev blasts NATO eastward expansion
15:1702/04/2009
Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev has criticized NATO's eastward expansion and the failure by Western powers to keep their promise not to deploy military bases near Russia's borders.
Gorbachev said in an interview with Germany's Bild newspaper published on Thursday that Western Germany, the United States and other powers had pledged after Germany's reunification in 1990 that "NATO would not move a centimeter to the east."
Gorbachev said the Americans had failed to fulfill the promise and the Germans had also turned a blind eye.
"They probably rubbed their hands rejoicing at having played a trick on the Russians," the former Soviet leader told the paper, adding that this had led to Russia's disillusionment with post-Cold War relations with the West.
From IS IT POSSIBLE TO IMPROVE THE RUSSIA-US RELATIONS?
US president Barack Obama will travel to Moscow in July this year for his second negotiations round with Russian president Dmitry Medvedev. The first meeting between the two leaders in London in April went well: after a long period of mutual negligence between the USA and Russia, the two presidents managed to start their dialog from a blank page, in the tone of respect and positive aspirations.

Obstacle 1: different priorities
Obstacle 2: superpower ambitions
Obstacle 3: lack of confidence
The major characteristics of the George Bush era in US-Russia relations were the absence of regular negotiations and the lack of communication between the two states. Controversial and aggressive policies of both Presidents Bush and Putin caused bad relations, complete ignorance of the US administration towards Russia and anti-Americanism in Russia. Obviously, it will take time and efforts of both sides to restore mutual trust and positive inclinations.
Taking into account all these issues between the two countries, anticipating a major turn in the bilateral relations soon would be somewhat wishful.
From Tim Geithner Going To China
The nation's #1 bond salesman Tim Geithner is jumping on a plane this weekend to China.
What's he gonna tell them? Well, presumably he'll reiterate that US debt is a great investment. But (and this is seemingly contradictory) he's going to urge the government to transform the nation from one based on exporting cheap goods to the United States to one based on consuming more domestically, according to WSJ.
In other words: Stop flooding us with all this cheap stuff that we can't resist.
Geithner won't be the first Treasury secretary to have brought this message. Hank Paulson did the same thing, and if we recalled, he urged the country to discover the magic of credit cards. After looking at our situation, they'd be wise to say 'no thanks'.
So how will Obama admin will rejust or pursue the course of the Imperialist Agenda of US?
That is the question IMO
