Caring more about the fate of unborn children, whose parent decides to abort, than an actual living and contributing life is ridiculous. A life for a life punishment mentality from some third party stranger or outsider is unacceptable always. This personal decision is none of the outsiders' business.
I honestly never understood why the issue of abortion, a personal decision, garners so much attention, over zealotry and righteousnes against it. Can someone quote me from somewhere, some authoritative piece of accepted ancient literature that has withstood the test of time, that specifically sanctions against a human being making this very personal decision.
People have given their minds away to this issue. What do they do, imagine the possibilities of this loss of life and realize its full potential for it, as if they would be its maker? If so, they shouldn't. Have as many of your own kids as you want. If babymaking is a joy for you, have at it. Stop trying to run other peoples' lives. Stop killing actualized human beings because of your own imaginings of a fetus' possible potential.
Pro lifers may not like the decision of strangers or knowns, but it is their personal decision. It is extremely barbaric to insist a will upon others, that they do not want.
I think the abortion issue should not be as pronounced as it continues to be, in political discourse.
