House Minority Leader John Boehner's response to whether it was premature to so casually dismiss the DHS report on right-wing extremism:
"Trying to exploit this awful tragedy to score political points - from the right or the left - is simply grotesque. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families."
Really?
I understand that exposing the republican party's connection to right-wing extremists is inconvenient, but people are dying. Is this really the message Boehner wants to send the voters? That republican politics should be considered more important to the country than the people being murdered by the fringes of his party?
And if so, how many? How many people have to die before Boehner will permit the country to judge republican politicans on their actual policies? Please, Boehner, give us that number, and we will all keep our mouths shut until a sufficient number of people die. We await your answer.
