In the third quarter of 2003, Clark brought in a measly $3,491,108. You can quibble and argue that he was only in the race for a couple weeks before the end of the quarter, but that was his choice, wasn't it?
Assuming the most pessimistic estimates of his campaign are correct, he'll take in $10 million in the 4th quarter.
That's a jump of over 286%!
This is a companion to my previous post,
Clark's fundraising is slowing!.
Obviously, this is also a ridiculous statement.
As Mr Clemens said in his autobiography:
"There are three types of lies - lies, damn lies, and statistics."
