I have been busy, working on my class, as I had said earlier in my last early report.
But I found just a minute of free time to read up on the latest news. What I found shocked me. It made me physically sick.
I already know about Neda, despite not covering her story I found it extremely sad.
But it was not as sad as this piece of information that comes to use from the Huffington Post and the Wall Street Journal.
Young Kaveh Alipour was killed in the streets for protesting peacefully. That alone is enough to make one sick. But what happened next makes me want to vomit.
Upon learning of his son's death, the elder Mr. Alipour was told the family had to pay an equivalent of $3,000 as a "bullet fee"—a fee for the bullet used by security forces—before taking the body back, relatives said.
He was able to convince them not to charge him, because of course the entirety of his possessions aren't worth $3,000 dollars, due to him being a veteran of the Iraq-Iran war.
It's fucking unforgivable.
It makes me sick to my stomach.
Then it makes me rage.
I'm not gonna take it anymore god damnit!
And after all these Ahmadinejad apologists have been trolling my last several threads. Well those trolls can go fuck themselves. This is the kind of actions they are defending.
Excuse me while I go throw up my dinner.
