I spent some time chasing butterflies today and appreciating every beautiful thing ...

Chasing butterflies is an activity which I encourage. The Universe is a whole lot bigger and more awesome than the Internet. Photographs only serve to remind everyone of what Nature is all about ... and it is all about Life, unlike economics, which is all about death and destruction for the sake of consumable produces which are ready for the landfill the moment that they leave their packaging.
It is a sad, sad thing to spend time arguing with racists, bigots and those filled with irrational fear of anyone who isn't exactly like their own self. I've spent many years don't so and it has always seemed like such a tragedy for people to fill their souls with so many negative emotions against people that they haven't met and ideas which they haven't bothered trying to understand.
Irrational fear and hatred of the Muslims isn't at all justified under any circumstance. I'll tell you what I have learned from many years of contact with the Muslims: They exactly, precisely, like every other human. They are not perfect ... but no one is perfect. They are not sinless ... but no one is sinless. They are just ordinary humans trying to live life as well as they can.
The Muslims that I have met and continue to meet are beautiful people. Islam is itself a beautiful religion. The Qur'an is a beautiful book and worthy of much respect.
Love the Muslims! Live at peace with all people!
Warfare and violence and hatred and prejudice and bigotry and irrational fear have to end.
All of these things will end, too. Too bad that the Homo sapiens have destroyed the planet and humankind's future as well.
Humankind's greatest enemy is human nature.
Nature's greatest enemy is humankind.
In the great war between Humans and Nature, Nature's victory is guaranteed. Humankind is headed to extinction.
Humankind really needs to grow up ... but that is too much to ask the self-proclaimed intelligent animal. To cure humankind of violence would require a miracle more impressive than raising a man from the dead.
