I did some research into late term abortion and found that 36 states have some form of a ban on abortion after a certain time period (with various exclusion e.g. the health of the mother).
But I can't seem to find anything really talking about the country as a whole, or the other 14 states.
Would that mean that it is legal to have an abortion on the day before a womans due date (or I guess the day after if she has still not given birth) even when there are no health concerns, assuming you lived in one of the 14 states without such a ban?
I'm hoping someone on here is more knowledegable than I am on this topic and can enlighten me.
UPDATE: Answer, Roe v Wade deals with the pre-viability time period:
Viability is usually placed at about seven months (28 weeks) but may occur earlier, even at 24 weeks
