KARL: One of the Democrats targeted found the ads laughable.
KARL (to KENT CONRAD): The Democratic National Committee is running ads in North Dakota targeting you.
CONRAD (after a forced laughter lasting a few seconds): You gotta' love it. Is this a great world we live in?
The ad campaign, announced yesterday, targets Senate Democrats who have been skeptical of health care reform, including Conrad in North Dakota, Evan Bayh in Indiana, Bill Nelson in Florida, Mary Landrieu in Louisiana, Blanche Lincoln in Arkansas, and Ben Nelson in Nebraska.
