And no beating yourself up either, because that's not what it's about. WHEE is a lifelong change. Progress is not going to happen overnight, and there will be stumbles, bad days, busy days, vacations, cheat days, and periods of time when you simply take a break and step away from your program.
Never mind. Pick up where you left off. Start again. Make some changes in your exercise program. Try out some new receipes. Give it some time.
And hang in there.
Sunday was good. We did some cardio before breakfast (some light fasted cardio is a good technique to promote fat burning), followed later in the day by a half-hour of intervals on the treadmill. In terms of eating, these days I'm reducing the amount of grains in my diet, trying to get most of my carbs from fruit and vegetables. It seems to be working - I'm down six pounds over the past month. I miss bread, but then again, it's not forever.
