Mika still does not get the Gates story. Now the self-proclaimed "journalist" is mopping about talking about woo is me.
Mika "the journalist" still has not done any research that a true journalist would do prior to talking about a story. The 911 tapes are out, the police report is out, the 911 caller's attorney has spoken, and Ms. Brezinski still does not get it.
She cried about how Carlos, Mike Barnacle, and Dylan continued to tell her that the case was about race after last Friday's show. She cried about how they had statistics, experience, and research that supported their position. You would think that after they owned her and exposed her lack of knowledge or her lack of a journalistic credential that she would be prepared on Monday. Not the self-proclaimed journalist.
This morning she was still stating that the case was about race because Professor Gates made it about race. Did she not read how the 911 caller never mentioned race or backpacks? However, the police report somehow claimed that the caller stated that there were two black men with backpacks breaking in the door. The police report goes on and on about how uncooperative Dr. Gates was, but the call from Crowley shows that he had identified the burglar as Professor Gates. Why did he ask for more cars to come instead of leaving? Why did the 911 caller state that she believed that the door was probably just stuck and that given the suitcases more than likely the two individuals lived at the house.
Mika needs to focus on the inconsistencies between the police report and the 911 call and the further discussion with the 911 caller once Crowley was on-site. Maybe that will explain who made race an issue.
At what point is the public going to demand accountability and true journalist on tv. Maybe President Obama should have refrained from calling Crowley's actions stupid and waited until the likes of those on tv like Ms. Brezinski Acted Stupidly by not researching the topic.
