May 5 is the National Day of Prayer. Click here for information on the Ohio Prayer Breakfast (Ken Blackwell is the Chair, Gigi Graham, daughter of Billy Graham is the keynote speaker) In the Free Press, you can find "rapid response" suggestions from Beacon Fellowship Columbus. BFC describes itself as "a liberal, progressive intetrfaith ministry that supports diversity and equality, and also challenges hate, bigotry, and discrimination thru advocacy and education."

May 14 At the next meeting of The Humanist Community of Central Ohio, Franklin County Commissioner Mary Jo Kilroy will talk about church state separation on a local level and what she has experienced being a woman in politics.
May 16 A unified liberal religious voice for Central Ohio is the goal of a newly-forming group of congregations. Many congregations (Christians, Jewish, Unitarian) are being invited to participate in a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, May 16, 7-9 p.m. at the King Avenue United Methodist Church, 299 King Avenue, Columbus.
