I have lived in a dictatorship in Latin America, where you really could be shot for being against government. In a real dictatorship, middle aged and senior people do not go to the streets to be shot. They have too much to lose, too many people who depend on them. When things get really, really bad, the young people, with no kids to care for and a lot of naivete about life might take the streets - as we have seen in Iran - and they do get shot to death.
Think about it. If you think someone is trying to kill you or a member of your family FOR REAL, what would you do ?
If the teabaggers did believe their lies, they would either come armed and start shooting democrats or hole up in a compound, armed to the teeth. David Koresh and his gang were afraid for their lives. The guy who shot 3 policemen dead in his house was afraid.
But not those middle class gladbaggers on townhalls. They are not afraid of being put to death. Heck, the townhall screamers aren't even afraid of being arrested for disorderly conduct.
The teabaggers are lying. They have no fear of us and Obama. They know perfectly well nothing will happen to them. And if they break a nail they will be able to show up on Fox.
All they want is vent their rage at being scorned on Nov 4th 2008. Being powerless makes them mortally afraid. Not of us or Obama. No they are afraid they will never get their sweet power back. Like drug addicts, some of them will do anything to get that power back. Those we need to spot and get them neutered ASAP.
But most of them will just yell and shout and try to get seen on TV, preferably Fox News. If they are lucky they figure they may get some free trips and a book deal like Joe the Plumber. If not, they get to see Obama fail and will rejoice in that
