I just added an entry to the "urban dictionary page" - where anyone can submit new words or new definitions either to catch up with common usage, or make up a new word of their own. (The readers get to vote on whether they like them.)
So I have proposed a verb "to baucus" - it seems to me since we can't do much to get the guy voted out of office, or to remove him from his chairmanship, we can at least make his name synonymous with corruption and sabotage for all eternity. I think if we work on it, we can make this literally true
(definition after the fold)
here's the definition:
baucus
verb - 1) for a politician, to accept bribe money to subvert an important piece of social legislation one pretends to support, (2) more broadly, to intentionally sabotage an undertaking for selfish reasons
!) "We had a chance to do something about the smog problem in this city but the mayor baucused it." 2) "he looked like he was trying to put out the fire but I think he intentionally baucused the job because he was after the insurance money"

if anyone thinks this is an appropriate addition to the English language, feel free to go to the page and give it a thumbs-up. You are also encouraged to use it as widely as possible and to coin other, similar usages. If we are persistent, the English language itself will stand as permanent memorial to Senator Baucus' betrayal of his principles and constituents - or, maybe not, but still, it'll be fun trying, and you never know, it just might work.
