There was a diary on the rec list earlier today about how Bill Moyers was specific and on point about health care in America. (note: the video was not available at that time)
Moyers was not shy, afraid, scared but he took the Democratic Party to task.
The main issue that stood out for me, Moyers blasting of the money and its influence that is running all through the Democratic Party.
Watch this while you can, HBO has the tendency to remove these videos. FYI.
Moyers took Rahm Emanuel to task, as a corporate Democrat. He explained and exposed that the money Obama will need for re-election is from the very entity that we are fighting against.
If we don't pass meaningful health care reform, don't put Ted Kennedy's name on it. If what we get because of the influence of heavy money in our party a very watered down bill, that is not health care reform. And the ones that voted for Barack Obama and the Democrats will know it.
Part One
Part Two
Part Three
This video says it all, because we do have "two corporate parties, the Republicans and the Democrats". And the money that influence bad legislation in D.C., always tend to win. Let's not let that happen this time.
