During our move I discovered some papers which had not seen the light of day since we moved from Arkansas to New Jersey in 2000. Truth is, they had probably even been buried by the time we left Arkansas.
They are presented here for whatever value someone may find in them.
For those who don't find any meaning within them, I'm adding the graphic at the left, entitled Rai and Jiri, at Lungha.
The entire Tamarian phrase, you may recall is Rai and Jiri at Lungha. Rai of Lowani. Lowani under two moons. Jiri of Ubaya. Ubaya of crossed roads. At Lungha. Lungha, her sky grey.
It seemed appropriate with this piece.

We take different routes as we meander along the tangled pathways of life. Sometimes we get lost in a maze or may be confronted with a difficult obstacle. At times such as these we often encounter others. Some watch us go by. They do us no harm. Some help us along the way. They are our friends. Still others block our path or make us take another route. Why?
To do no harm is a worthy goal.
To be a friend is nobler.
To obstruct another is to injure the soul.
Both the obstructor and the obstructed will absorb the injury. Others will notice. Some will become friends. Some will do no harm. Others will reinforce the obstruction.
In this way many souls are injured by a single obstruction.
We should join together to remove all barriers on all paths. In that way we can all enjoy the journey.
