Beautiful.
When I first heard of Sarah Palin, and saw a clip, my first reaction was, "that's Tina Fey!"
My second reaction was delirious gratitude, because it was then that I knew, for sure, that Obama would win - big.
Tina Fey picked up the sixth Emmy of her career Saturday night with her win as guest actress in a comedy series for her portrayal of GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on" Saturday Night Live."
Tina Fey was perfect as Sarah, scarily so. She seemed to out-Palin Palin, creating timeless parody in the process: her chirpy "I can see Russia from my house" became the most famous Sarah Palin quote that Sarah Palin never (quite) said.
Even before Tina portrayed candidate Palin, people saw the striking likeness:
But, IMHO, it was Tina's gift, her perfect-pitch delivery of Concentrated Sarah that elevated this portrayal to the Emmy level:
Thanks for your service, Tina!
